Welcome to Trapper Peak Coffee! We are a family owned coffee shop named after the highest peak in the Bitterroot Range, Trapper Peak. The Bitterroot valley is where our owner, Jemarie Allen, grew up and makes her home, spending many hours enjoying the outdoors and especially hiking in the Bitterroot mountains. Jemarie is a business graduate from the University of Montana.

Trapper Peak Coffee was started in 2014 with the help of family member Jeff Wright and a partnership with the Missoula Public Library. We loved being part of the new downtown library but decided to close our Missoula location in October of 2023.

In January 2023 we opened our second location in downtown Stevensville with a wonderful partnership with our friends at Lydia Rae Mercantile.

We offer inside seating and outside patio seating (when not buried in snow), views of the western Bitterroots , great coffee and menu items, in-house baked goods, First Friday events, and friendly baristas. You will find something to love on every visit to Trapper Peak Coffee.
